Ascend Seattle, a UW Foster School of Business program through the Consulting & Business Development Center is designed to strengthen business owners in construction, energy, architecture and engineering as they prepare to meet prime contractor requirements and pursue larger public- and private-sector opportunities.

Ascend Seattle is built around the M³ Model — Management Education, Money and Markets. Through the program, business owners strengthen their strategy, financial management, leadership and negotiation skills; build financial readiness for growth; and develop relationships with capital providers, prime contractors and major regional buyers.
